Youth justice: Volunteers run summer sports

Crime-reduction group Nacro is running 196 events, ranging from football to archery and mountaineering, across England. Some 214 volunteers from 25 projects will take part.

Rachel Jones, national volunteer development officer at Nacro, said: Volunteers help bring down social barriers and give young people the opportunity to engage in constructive activities in their local community.
