Funding: The overall programme costs about 12,000 per person, and is funded by the Youth Justice Board

The summer holidays have traditionally been a time when crime-prevention projects step up a gear to find activities to keep young people who are at risk of becoming involved in crime or antisocial behaviour out of trouble. But the shorter holidays throughout the rest of the year can also be a time when boredom sets in.

Brent Youth Offending Service's intensive supervision and surveillance programme (ISSP) has taken this on board, and is this week running a series of activities for the group of young people it is currently working with.
