Haringey-based theatre Jacksons Lane will host the 10-day "Arts against guns and knives" festival, which begins today (5 July). About 150 young people will take part, performing drama, dance, rap and poetry.
The festival will culminate with a symposium involving a debate on gun and knife crime. Speakers include Lynne Featherstone, MP for Hornsey and Wood Green, as well as representatives from Mothers Against Crime and the Metropolitan Police.
