Youth justice: Coventry services join up on targets

Coventry and Warwickshire youth services last week signed a protocol agreement with the local learning and skills council, Connexions partnership, education welfare services and the youth offending teams.

The document commits all the partners to work to achieve the Youth Justice Board's target of moving 90 per cent of young offenders into education, training or employment, compared with 70 per cent of young offenders at present and 93.1 per cent of the school-age population.
