The forum was launched on 15 September by the National Association for Youth Justice (NAYJ). It will allow youth justice workers to debate issues, identify best practice and earmark subjects suitable for NAYJ campaigns.
Recent Youth Justice Board research found that Black young men were more likely to be prosecuted than their White counterparts and were more likely to be given a custodial sentence (YPN, 7-13 July, p3).
