Speaking at this week's Association of Principal Youth & CommunityOfficers' (Apyco) conference, Terry Begley, Apyco regionalrepresentative for Yorkshire and the Humber, said: "My concern is we'regoing to get a new building but won't be able to get funding to runit."
He warned some councils could have to close other youth facilities inorder to focus their resources on the new centres.
But Paul Rasch, team leader for youth workforce reform at the Departmentfor Children, Schools and Families, said: "Having adequate resourcesshould be part of the delivery."
