The charity believes that initiatives such as Positive Futures, the sports-based youth inclusion scheme it runs on behalf of the Home Office, can help give young people a better future and drive down crime.
The recommendation was included within the charity's report The Way Forward, which outlined six ways that it believes that communities could be changed for the better. Other action points were early action; preventing exclusion; closing the gap between offenders and their communities; and looking to young people for solutions.
