Evidence suggests the nature of children's commercial engagement is changing. The aim of the assessment is therefore to build a consensus on the nature and extent of these changes, by examining the best available evidence from the UK and abroad and looking at the effect of these changes on children's wellbeing. For example, what is the balance of benefit and harm to children's health, safety, enjoyment and achievement, contribution to society and economic wellbeing, as a result of the changes identified?
Academics, industry, non-government organisations and other stakeholders are all invited to provide evidence. There are also versions of this consultation for children, young people and parents.
