'We are the guys who can make a difference'

Young people from all backgrounds have condemned the riots seen across the country, but also want to be part of solutions to help prevent future violence.

 

I'm feeling angry. The most annoying thing is the way people blame the youths of the city.

They only care about us looting stuff and property getting damaged but don't care about the reason why they are doing it.

The recession makes everything tense. There's people with no money and anger everywhere on the street.

We need change and help for the youths. We want to work but people turn us down saying there's no work. They don't have no trust in us.

There needs to be respect. They expect us to give them respect without respecting us.

What I think David Cameron needs to do is create stuff - activities and stuff for youths. This summer I'm just going to be sitting at home. I tried to go to my youth group but it closed down.
