Wales: Youth assembly to form minority arm

The Black and Minority Ethnic Special Interest Network is in the planning stages but is expected to be up and running by Christmas. It aims to bring together young people from all backgrounds.

Rhian Baker, development worker for young disabled and Black and minority ethnic young people at Funky Dragon, said the network would echo Funky Dragon's existing network for disabled young people. "The network for disabled young people has got representatives from Funky Dragon but we also work with Children in Wales to get more young people involved," she added.
