Wales: Plaid Cymru to combine its youth movements

1 min read

The youth group, known as Mudiad Ieuenctid, is currently split into a general youth movement and a student one.

Morgan Lloyd, joint youth co-ordinator for Mudiad Ieuenctid, said: "We decided to merge the two movements to make things less complicated, and to rethink the way we co-ordinate work between them."

Changes include removing the lower age barrier of 16 to leave membership open to younger people and extending the upper age limit from 28 to 30.
