VOLUNTEERING: YCTV up for Make a Difference award

YCTV, an organisation that makes television for young people by young people, is among the nominees for the CSV Make a Difference Day awards.

The awards, sponsored by Barclays, will be held in London on 11 March and winners will be selected for categories including Most Innovative Activity and Most Inclusive Activity.

Around 34,000 young volunteers took part in Make A Difference Day last year.

YCTV, from Kensington and Chelsea, is up for Most Exceptional Youth Activity.

The group of young volunteers made short films on homelessness.

This year's Make a Difference Day is 30 October.
