The seven founding organisations of the implementation body include six private companies. They are T-Mobile, ITV, KPMG, MTV, Tesco, Sky and The Hunter Foundation, a philanthropic organisation that works in the developing world.
The Home Office has announced Rod Aldridge, executive chairman of The Capita Group, as chairman of the board of the charity that will run the framework. Aldridge will take up the part-time role in the spring.
An advisory board of 20 young people aged 16 to 24 has now been recruited.
The board will appoint the chief executive of the new organisation within the next two months.
Ian Russell told YPN: "The body has done incredibly well to get 3.5m so far."
