Voluntary sector: Prince's Trust finds new chief executive

Milburn, who has been chief executive of the BBC Children in Need Appeal since 2000, succeeds Sir Tom Shebbeare, who relinquished the post in the autumn after 16 years to take up the new position of Prince Charles' director of charities (YPN, 15-21 October, p4).

Milburn, who joins the organisation on 1 May, oversaw nine regional offices while at Children in Need and sat on the BBC's corporate social responsibility board. Before joining Children in Need, she established the communications function at aid agency Cafod.
