Model Katie Price has paid a visit to partially sighted children at the Royal London Society for the Blind's Dorton House School in Sevenoaks, Kent, to open its new outdoor play equipment area, which has been named Katie's Vision Playground in her honour. The model, also known as Jordan, has a partially sighted son and made the visit as a patron of The Vision Charity, which donated 25,000 to build the playground. "As a parent of a partially sighted child, I know the importance of play. It actually gives children the confidence they need to get about on their own," Price explained. The charity raised the money after 25 guests at its annual ball each donated 1,000 to develop the playground.
