Training for social and legal workers

Careers Social Care
Training to prepare professionals for the introduction of the Public Law Outline will begin in January next year.

Children Law UK, part of care charity Tact, has been chosen to deliver the training across England and Wales. The courses are aimed at social workers, local authority legal advisors, family court staff and Cafcass employees affected by the new regulations, which aim to speed up childcare proceedings.

The Public Law Outline and revised statutory guidance will come into force next April.

Kevin Williams, chief executive of Tact, said: "It is important we reach as many professionals as possible to ensure the effective implementation of the Public Law Outline."
