The association warned in April that some young people on e2e courses could be left worse off following the introduction of the allowance of up to 30, which replaced minimum training allowances of between 40 and 50 when it was introduced to work-based learning (YPN, 12-18 April, p3).
The association is asking providers to supply a report on young people's take-up of the programme and how it compares with expectations.
