
Last week, shadow children's minister Tim Loughton announced the party's intention to make public the full review into the death of seven-year-old Khyra Ishaq in Birmingham last May.
But Maggie Atkinson, president of the ADCS, said: "The publication of a full report poses risks for other vulnerable children who were involved in the case. To put those children at further risk is unacceptable.
"The best way to ensure that no personal data is released is for a comprehensive executive summary, containing all relevant information to be published.
"The summaries should be honest and transparent so that the public, politicians and families are clear about what went wrong and what action is to be taken."
