THE NATIONAL YOUTH AGENCY: Youthinformation.com looksat ... Interrailing in Europe

1 min read

Train travel to Europe has taken a giant leap forward since the opening of the Channel Tunnel. Trains from different parts of the country connect with the Eurostar from London Waterloo. Services then go direct to Brussels and Paris and connections on to other European cities and beyond. If you don't want to use the tunnel you can mix ferry and train travel.

STA Travel offers the following useful advice for would-be InterRailers.

An InterRail pass gives you unlimited travel on the extensive network that covers 28 European countries and Morocco. InterRail offers a range of passes for those under and those over 26-years-old. They also advise you to take out adequate travel insurance for your trip. For more information visit the STA web site.
