The National Youth Agency: Youth work in contested spaces

The spring issue of Youth & Policy, out now, has a focus on youth work in contested spaces.

Guest edited by Ken Harland, of the University of Ulster, it features a range of articles concerning society and conflict. These include youth work practice in the contested spaces of Northern Ireland; a study of segregated Britain as a society in conflict with its radicalised youth; youth work in south east Europe; inter-racial conflict and identity, youth gangs and ethnicity.
