The National Youth Agency: Young Roots - Claremont Community Play

Young Roots - Claremont Community Play Lead Agency: Claremont Faircourt School Partners: National Trust - Claremont Landscape Garden; Surrey History Society

THE PROJECT

Claremont was built in the 18th century by The Duke of Newcastle and was a royal residency for more than 100 years. Starting in February 2005, young people will start researching the history of the estate prior to writing a play. They will also work with members of the local community to develop an outdoor performance for June 2006.
