Young Roots - Dreadlocks, Bindis and a Baseball Bat Lead Agency: Emmaus Project, Aldershot Partners: Mass Observation Archive, Gurkha Museum, West End Centre Kitchen, Aldershot Historical Society

THE PROJECT

Groups of young homeless people will look into histories of minority ethnic communities in Aldershot, focusing on music, food and dress. A 12-week project starts in January 2005 and will make a film that will be disseminated in schools, libraries and a local arts centre.
