The National Youth Agency: Young Roots

BRAUNSTONE ESTATE Lead agency: Braunstone Motor Project; Partners: Leicester Archaeological Society Project: The two partners in the project will work with young people aged 15 to 20 to investigate the history of the area covering this large estate on the edge of Leicester. Young participants will produce a book that will be freely distributed and will record their findings about the estate at key periods in the past, including the Domesday Book, the Victoria era, the Second World War and the 1960s.
