Oxley Trail Lead Agency: Dearne Valley Award Centre (part of Kirklees Youth Service) Partners: West Yorkshire Archives, local history society
Project
The centre where the project is based is an old building left to young people by a local family. When clearing the site, they found a name stone which led young people to investigate the history of the family and the stories of a fatal fire. A web site will be created to display findings along with a theatre production and a village walk created with professional drama workers.
