Remembering the Holocaust Lead Agency: Beth Shalom Partners: The Acorn Project, Connexions
Project
Holocaust Memorial Day takes place each year on 27 January, and this week's Young Roots project has been chosen to reflect that theme. Beth Shalom Holocaust Centre near Newark, Nottinghamshire will work with young people with low literacy skills to produce an educational resource pack.
Young people will visit the centre, study its resources, talk with Holocaust survivors, take part in discussion groups and produce a video and workbook.
For more information, contact Debs McCahon, Young Roots national co-ordinator, on 0115 934 9053.
