The YPDP is a three-year initiative funded by the Department of Health in partnership with the DfES. It aims to set up projects that address risk-taking behaviour, particularly in relation to teenage pregnancy, substance use and educational attainment.
The new web site follows the recent Moving Forward national event in providing excellent networking opportunities and sharing good practice.
The site outlines the aims of YPDP and provides details of the 27 pilot projects. Each project undertakes a diverse range of activities such as outdoor education, journalism and music. Contact details are available for all projects. The NYA is the training and co-ordination agent for YPDP, and the new site also provides links to its partners Youth Access and the fpa. www.nya.org.uk/ypdp
