The purpose of the seminar is to outline latest research on the nature of young people's gambling - why they are drawn into it and what its effects can be. It is also an opportunity to become familiar with two new gambling education resources. Normally retailing at £40 for the pair, these resources from the Tacade organisation will be given to delegates for free.
You Bet! provides gambling education materials for young people aged 11 to 16, while Just Another Game? focuses on the 13 to 19 age group.
