She will explore "young and old together - a potent mix for social cohesion" as part of a day of keynote speeches and workshops exploring the value of intergenerational work and the challenges faced by society, and drawing on the work of The NYA's intergenerational pilot programmes.
Other speakers include Baroness Sally Greengross of the International Longevity Centre UK, Anne Weinstock of the Youth Taskforce and Thomas Fischer, who will bring a European perspective to the event.
Blacke said: "Interest in intergenerational work has never been higher. This conference will give youth organisations an overview of the current state of intergenerational work and the chance to learn from practitioners and policy makers."
