Vibes and Voices differs from Shabaab in that it focuses more on young people's voluntary activities outside the traditional youth and community settings.
The first issue contains a wealth of diverse articles, including project profiles, historical perspectives and opinion pieces.
In each issue there will be a regular focus on hot issues, and young people are invited to get involved and have their say. In the launch edition, 17-year-old Leah Burgess writes about her experiences as a youth councillor in Wolverhampton.
Editor Merlynne Francique said: "It is our intention to broaden our readership base and professional boundaries by providing more articles on specific areas such as education, health, housing, careers and social care."
