June 4 sees the latest training event in the Vanessa Rogers series. Taking place in Doncaster, 'Citizenship in Youth Work' will introduce the key themes in the citizenship curriculum that youth workers and Connexions PAs need to consider, and offer discussion and share ideas on good practice.
The next event is on 22 July at Exeter and looks at 'Detached Youth Work'.
On 21 June in London, the latest Joseph Rowntree Foundation findings on youth work approaches with hard to reach young people will be discussed at 'Reaching Socially Excluded Young People'. Also in London, on 8 July, 'Fulfilling Their Potential' will examine the successes of youth services and library services' partnerships in working with young people.
