The Readiness for Children's Trusts - Self-Assessment Framework has been developed in partnership with the Youth Work Unit for Yorkshire and Humber. Its aim is to provide organisations with a tool to assess their own ability to engage with the new trusts, and to decide their priority actions. It builds on work originally carried out by the Government Office for the South West, and has now been published on The NYA's web site: www.nya.org.uk.
The framework sets the scene for a new style of working aimed at improving outcomes and methods that should harness the contribution of all agencies working with young people, along with families and communities, in the planning, commissioning and delivery of services.
