The National Youth Agency: Self-assessment framework available onengagement with children's trusts

1 min read

The framework aims to assist principal youth officers, along with assistant directors and/or senior management teams, to identify the key factors in preparing for the new arrangements to secure outcomes for young people, and to assess their readiness against them. Voluntary organisations who choose to engage with C&YPTs will also find many of the issues relevant.

Sarah Hargreaves, project manager, said: "The framework has been clearly written by Tessa Hibbert to provide a simple and short tool to aid thinking, prioritising and planning. The work is funded by The National Youth Agency's Partners in Innovation Programme.

"The primary desired outcome from this project is to assist youth services to optimise the youth service contribution to children and young people's trusts in order to help these trusts secure better outcomes for young people."
