The National Youth Agency: Successful year for NYA associateconsultants supporting youth services

1 min read

The National Youth Agency's organisational development team has been looking back on a successful financial year providing support to youth services through its team of associate consultants.

A key focus for The NYA has been providing support to those services that have been judged inadequate by Ofsted. During the year the agency has worked with 16 such services, with each receiving up to 15 days of consultancy support provided by The NYA's associate consultants.

Originally recruited in September 2004, these consultants have a wealth of experience within youth work, youth services and organisational development.

A team of consultants is selected to work with each service in question, matching specific skills to that service's particular need. The consultants work with the services to secure the improvements identified in Ofsted recommendations.
