The new version has been updated and trialled with the help of young people themselves and support from leading sexual health advice agency Brook.'
Fiona Blacke, chief executive of The National Youth Agency, said: "There have been welcome changes and a rapid pace of development in policy and practice around young people's sexual health over the last decade.
However, many challenges remain in this area. There is still a huge demand from young people for full and frank discussion with robust information from a trusted adult to help them make positive choices about their sexual health and activity.
