The National Youth Agency: Raising standards in Detached YouthWork

The Federation for Detached Youth Work is this year holding its annual conference and annual general meeting over three days at The Britannia Hotel, Wigan, from 8-10 November.

The theme of the annual conference is "Standards and Excellence in Detached Youth Work" and the event aims to provide the opportunity for delegates to explore the findings and lessons from the Partners In Innovation project.

The event has a strong emphasis on training, providing workshops that include Starting out in Detached Youth Work, Managing Detached Youth Work, Recorded Outcomes, Equality and Diversity and Training and Sharing Training Resources.

The cost for three days, including accommodation and meals, is 250 for members and 300 for non-members.
