The key aims are to:
- update participants on the work of The NYA/NIACE Young Adult Learners Partnership;
- highlight effective practice in informal learning, drawing particularly on the experiences of projects supported by the Neighbourhood Support Fund and the Adult and Community Learning Fund; and
- enable delegates and young people to argue for effective informal learning to national and local decision-makers.
The conferences take place on Wednesday 9 April at the Foresight Centre, Liverpool University, Brownlow Road, Liverpool L69 and Wednesday 30 April at London Voluntary Sector Resource Centre, Holloway Road, London N7.
