Young People's Development Programme - DISCUS Youth Inclusion Project. Location: East Manchester
The project: This project runs complementary education programmes, manages a young people's centre and has a range of family support and domestic violence services. The YPDP pilot focuses on housed Irish Travellers. Individual timetables are written with young people to plan activities such as sports and basic skills. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme and Getting Connected are used to accredit young people's learning and achievements.
