Young People's Development Programme - Beat Birmingham Awareness Project

Lead Agency: Lozells and Handsworth, Birmingham

PROJECT

This project aims to re-engage African-Caribbean and Asian young people in education. The ethos is to provide young people with the opportunity for self-expression and ownership of the project by enabling them to shape its development, and meet their expectations in a meaningful and appropriate context. Performance, dance, music and drama will be used to explore sexual health, drugs abuse, crime and truancy.
