The job involves initiating, developing and managing the research programme at the agency through identifying annual priorities, monitoring progress, developing and implementing plans and reporting on annual performance targets. The postholder will secure funding for research activity with partners and manage the Young Researcher Network, including the development of work methodology.
The agency is also expanding its existing consultancy service with the aim of raising standards in the sector by improving the performance of services and organisations. It is seeking two new development officers to contribute to the development and delivery of this enhanced service, meeting the needs of local authority, central government and third sector clients.
