2 mins read

The Ideas Into Action events will cover a range of topics, from challenging discriminatory behaviour to environmental citizenship, volunteering and work with gay young men. All the events offered are suitable for youth workers, Connexions personal advisers and everyone involved in work with young people. Based on the handbooks by Rogers, these workshops aim to provide workers with practical ideas to engage with and develop effective relationships with young people.

Rogers has 10 years' experience within Hertfordshire Youth Service, and has extensive experience managing youth centres, developing detached projects and working directly with young people in a range of settings. She is the author of two series of activity books published by The NYA.
