The National Youth Agency: Ideas into Action events announced

1 min read

Based on the bestselling resource handbooks by Vanessa Rogers, 36 workshop events are planned to provide workers with practical ideas and support, and to help them develop effective relationships with young people in a range of settings.

The events are suitable for youth workers in the local authority and voluntary sectors, Connexions personal advisers, citizenship or PSHE teachers and anyone else involved in work with young people.

Kicking off with Detached Work for Beginners on 23 January 2006, the events are spread throughout the year and include Work with Young Women, to coincide with the publication of a new activity pack. Other areas covered include young people at risk, the use of drama in youth work, work with young men and environmental citizenship.
