The National Youth Agency: Ideas Into Action - Active Citizenship

The training day will look at ways to encourage and support young people in getting involved in their communities and promote participation. It is intended for voluntary and statutory sector youth workers and Connexions personal advisers.

The day will consider ways to promote active citizenship and community involvement; look at ways to encourage young people to become involved in youth councils, forums and consultation processes to ensure their voice is heard; enable workers to develop inclusive programmes in partnership with other agencies; and share and promote good practice.
