Entitled "Sharing, learning and developing action", the regional events will provide opportunities to position local authorities in the driving seat to develop strategies with their partners to secure effective implementation of the strategy. They will focus on some of the key commitments to action contributing to the three key transformational themes - empowerment, quality and access. Fiona Blacke, chief executive of The NYA, will give the keynote speech at each event.
Sarah Hargreaves, NYA project team leader policy and practice, said: "The main purpose is to provide up-to-date information and an opportunity for high level dialogue and learning."
The national event, on 13 December in London, will bring together senior political figures, key policy makers and those with a responsibility for implementation in the statutory and third sectors to take forward the main themes and findings from the regional events.
