The National Youth Agency: New report from The NYA informs localauthority PYOs

The main purpose of the questionnaire was to inform local authority principal youth officers (PYOs) and assistant directors about what is happening elsewhere in England to assist their own response to the opportunities and demands of children and young people's trusts. Another purpose was to assist Regional Youth Work Units and Government Offices to know how best to support youth services in relation to these developments.

The questionnaire arose as an action point for The National Youth Agency from its July Round Table on children and young people's trusts. Forty-seven responses were received out of a potential 150 local authorities - almost one-third.
