The book presents the whole NSF story and captures the evidence and learning from both the NSF pilot phase, which ran from 2000-2003 and the current Phase 2 projects. Building on success factors identified by national research, it offers support and guidance to youth work practitioners by sharing innovative ideas, approaches and materials of good practice collated from NSF projects across the country. In addition, the publication will promote the benefits of the NSF programme and the processes used to engage at-risk young people to a range of managers and decision-makers.
