The National Youth Agency: New focus on policy and IT followingreview of communications structure

The new arrangements will result in five posts becoming redundant, although four new posts will be created.

Tom Wylie, chief executive of The National Youth Agency, said: "The changes will improve our focus on our core activities and our ability to capture, interpret and disseminate information. As a consequence, five posts become redundant, but we have created four new posts as part of these developments and have other vacancies in the pipeline.These posts will be ring-fenced in the first instance for those staff affected by redundancy.

"The new arrangements and changes to services will be implemented over the next few months."
