The National Youth Agency: FPM and The NYA provide analysis andadvice on service management

1 min read

Targeted at principal youth officers and senior youth service managers, the series focuses on managing youth services in a rapidly changing policy context.

The aim of these events is to provide participants with a strategic analysis of some of the opportunities and challenges that currently face the sector.

It is hoped that examples of work from youth services that are making effective responses will be illustrated, and, most importantly, space will be given to consider the relevant issues in an environment comfortably removed from the day-to-day demands of managing a service.

Each event will benefit greatly from the contribution of high-quality speakers, including Tom Wylie, chief executive of The NYA, Viv McKee, The NYA's director of policy and development, Kevin Ford, chief executive of FPM, and Jon Bowman HMI, Ofsted. A number of principal youth officers will also be providing case studies and leading workshops.
