Limited numbers meant delegates had good opportunities to discuss issues, share experiences and ask questions, while feedback about the event was positive. A key part of the conference was an overview of West Sussex Youth Service's experience of being a Joint Area Review (JAR) pilot area.
Surviving and Thriving in Integrated Children's Services, the next event in the series, will provide a further opportunity to learn about how effective youth services have worked through JARs. Numbers for the event are again limited to ensure space for dialogue and raising questions with principal youth officers (PYOs) who have been through the JAR process.
