The National Youth Agency: Agency set to investigate young people'shealth

1 min read

The survey, when it is officially launched in the autumn, will engage young people in a nationwide interactive survey into their lifestyle habits and overall health.

The pilot phase, taking place from late July through August, will see The NYA's successful e-active survey tools used among a small group of young people. The results will inform the Department of Health's thinking and help to shape the final survey's profile. The NYA survey used in the pilot phase has already been put to good use by many other organisations, including the British Youth Council and fpa (formerly the Family Planning Association).

When launched, the venture will look at the broad spectrum of young people's health, including everything from mental health to drugs. It will be accessible through many youth-facing media, including The NYA's dedicated information site for young people - youthinformation.com.
