The National Youth Agency: Agency seeks development officer

1 min read

The job involves playing a major part in ensuring services for young people have the staff they need working with them, ensuring the high quality of higher education youth and community work programmes and monitoring the provision of vocational youth work training.

Candidates should be aware of workforce development issues for youth services around Connexions, children's trusts and services for children and young people. One interesting aspect of the job will be working at the cutting edge of this expanding area of professional development.

Recognising the need for a continuing relationship between the youth work field, training agencies, sector skills councils and awarding bodies, The Agency is offering the role either as a permanent post or a secondment opportunity.
